The Republican presidential candidate �drew criticism from conservatives after he signaled an openness to a higher payroll tax for Social Security, contrary to previous vows not to raise taxes of any kind.

- the first package was aimed at bailing out the banks and help put them back on stable footing. The results of this are not instantaneous. The second package is aimed at the country's infrastructure--roads, bridges, etc. The purpose here is to create jobs.

- Ah..Jerome Corsi strikes again.  I love how people choose to believe certain things this man spreads but completely ignores the others.. Such as his articles on: McCain's ties to Al Qaeda. McCain's ties to mobsters in Arizona. But those are not true, right?

- Obama has a record. It's on the U.S. Senate web page included in his bio like it is with EVERY U.S. Congressman. All you have to do is look at it. It's even divided by topic.

- I agree with you're statement. However, the "woman moderator with the book on Obama" is a lie. She is writing a book about African-American politicians. ONE CHAPTER is on Obama.
